About This Project

In BIM, the product catalog plays a crucial role in the design process, enabling engineers to quickly and accurately select the right components for their piping system, perform clash detection, and generate accurate material lists and construction documents.

As a result, enCAD technologies were successful in providing the models and other documents in minimum time and maximum perfection.

Client requirements:

• To design and assemble different types of ducts and provide vertical suspensions to mount it to the wall as required by the client for the catalog purpose.
• Professional outlook to the drawings.
• Models and drawings to be done in Autodesk Inventor.

Scope: 

• Ducts made of cloth.
• Connections stitched to the duct by means of strap, and bulb edges.
• Creating around 500 drawings and creating about 3000 models.

Project Highlights:

This is a project by one of the leaders in ventilation purposes. enCAD technologies made clear instructions about the clients requirements through discussions before starting the project. Our designers modeled about 3000 models and created 500 drawings for the catalogue purposes from this project. To begin with, modeling was done by our designers from the input data (duct diameter, strap length etc.) received from our client. Our designers created the drawings from these models according to the sample received from the client. Furthermore, our designers successfully carried out the numerous calculations required by the project through constant research. Furthermore, there were about 11 types of vertical suspension mountings, and enCAD technologies were successful in providing the models and other documents in minimum time and maximum perfection.
